Christmas Time!

I can not believe it is almost Christmas once again. The kids are so excited for the holidays! This is there favorite holiday. We went and got our tree the Sunday after Thanksgiving and I am so glad we did. It wasn't too cold. Aidan came along to he had a sleep over with Austin and we made our trip back to Palmyra the same as the last 5 years and the kids choose the tree I might of mentioned a few I saw but they had the last say and then Ethan got to cut it down once again! Although this was our smallest tree it took him the longest to cut down. It was funny so of course I had to push the tree to one side apparently Jordan wasn't doing a very good job and away he went with the saw and it was done and over with. The other kids watching decided to go stand right were the tree was going to fall, so I am telling them to get out of the way while holding onto the tree and not letting it go. It certainly was an adventure! It is all worth it is the end tho. Our Tree looks Beautiful all decorated!

A day at the pumpkin patch! Stockoe Farms had so much for us to do! We went down slides, rode on zip lines, rode on a wagon, gerbil wheels, tricycle race, pumpkin launching! It was so much fun and it turned out to be a beautiful day!!!

Austin does not have his own camera but he has 2 sisters and a mother who take plenty of pictures of him whether he likes it or not! He has to face the facts that there will always be someone around with a camera at our house!

Brianna has also gotten her own camera and is up to taking pictures of herself. She is a picture taking nut. I wonder were she gets that from. She has so many pics I have no clue what to do with them! Oh well hopefully they will become great scrap bookers!

This is Jordan I have found her taking pictures of herself more often. It is very funny because she primps and then snap snap snap. I told her I would be happy to take the pictures for her but she declined and is off taking pics of herself and some pics of nature!

This is Emma playing peek a boo with Mater under the table. mater hides out under there but he is no match for Emma who finds him no matter where he is. She found him and I grabbed the camera as fast as I could it was too cute of a moment to pass up.

Last Shin Dig before school!

Austin Turned 7 on August 25th. We decided to have a Luau because it was going to be a very nice day and we had the pool and he also wanted a bounce house. So we rented a huge Castle and we had our whole family and all of his friends come. It turned out to be a beautiful day and so much fun. Everyone had something to do whether it was jump in the bounce house, swim in the pool, run around. It was a fun day had by all!!!
Well I showed Ethan the Blog last night and he said where is the Miller from the Doyle/Miller Family so here he is The Big Guy himself! As you can see Brianna managed to jump in and cuddle him for his picture! This is him yesterday after work! We love you!!

Brianna and Austin off to school!

I can not believe another summer has come and gone. Brianna is in now in 5th grade. She has struggle a bit and I signed her up for summer school. She was real mad at me at first for ruining her life and summer but after the first few days she came to me and said, " Mom thank you so much for signing me up it is a lot of help and it is fun too." I got all teary eyed and was so glad she came to me and said that. Austin my baby is in 2nd grade. I bring them to school each year on the first day. So we are walking to his class and I said are you alright he looked up at me and said, " I am a little nervous mom but I think I am going to like 2nd grade."
I can not believe how my children have grown and how each day that I have with them is a blessing. I never would of thought that they would grow so fast and be in school already! I think of how old Jordan is and it won't be long and she will be driving and graduating! I want to bottle them up and keep them my children forever!

Jordan is off to 7th Grade!

Oh my goodness Jordan is going into 7th grade. I can not believe how much she has grown. She is getting so big. But, guess what comes along with that. She has the attitude you know the one you gave your parents at that age. Well now I am getting it from her! I never thought that I would be on the receiving end of it. At least not from my big blue eyed, red haired angel! Yeah not an angel anymore. She is 13 going on 30 for sure. We love her and life would not be the same without her!!

Summer is Ending!

As our last days of summer came to an end we hurried to enjoy the nice weather we had. The kids were not ready to go back to school. I on the other hand could not wait for the routine! We had a great summer we camped, went to the water park, went to the zoo, had picnics, swam in our pool just about everyday, had friends over, Austin played baseball, Brianna played soccer. It was a busy summer!
