Summer Time!
So it is summer time and the kids are swimming and having a blast! Jordan won't let me get any good pictures of her so I have none to post! The other kids on the other hand jump at the chance to get in front of the Camera! I am determined to turn Thomas into a water baby and he hasn't been hard to convince! Apparently he loves the water! He loves his baths I just wasn't sure how he would react to COLD water!
Summer Reading
SO I had been reading this book for a few weeks (which is not like me to take so long) and I was getting to the end so I was sitting with Thomas and apparently bored him to sleep! I finished the book and he got a good nap! What a good boy he knew I wanted to finish my book! I usually get my books read in a week and this one had taken me a few weeks! I wonder why? Between taking care of 4 kids and running between soccer, baseball, softball for myself, and all of our other running around I wonder why it was taking me so long! I can not wait to get James Patterson's new one the SWIMSUIT!!! I just finished Jodi Picoult's Handle with Care it was very good and she always throws you at the end you never expect whats coming!
Mason Thomas has arrived!
The newest nephew and cousin has finally arrived!!!! Mason was born on March 7th! We are so excited to welcome him into our family!!! It seemed like he took awhile to come even tho he was early! Emma was so excited to have a baby brother of her own! Thomas is excited to have someone his size around the family! Although he looks way bigger the Mason give him a few months and they will be the same size and running or rolling around together!! I can not wait!
The newest Addition to our family is finally here!
Ethan, Jordan, Brianna, Austin and I welcomed our new baby boy on March 24, 2009! It happened so fast no one could believe it! I went into my appointment at 28 weeks and 6 days expecting for them to say they would induce me on Friday which was 3 days away. I had had high blood pressure tons of swelling in my feet. I had gone the week before for a non-stress test. They said everything was fine and then I was sent over again for another one right after my appointment. Dr. Scott said if all was okay he would let me go home and come back on Wednesday the next morning to be induced. unfortunately my labs did not come back good and they induced me right then and there. Let me tell you Thomas was obviously ready to come out because from the time they started petocin it took 2 hours to deliver my water broke on its own and I just dilated so fast! He came out and was bruised from the fast delivery! Poor Baby! It went away that night but I felt so bad for him. He is such a joy to have and he completes our family! The kids love him to pieces and are always helping out and wanting to hold and hug and kiss him! I am so very thankful he came out happy and healthy! We are so lucky to have him in our lives!
Bowling!
Well this was taken a few days before Christie's surgery. We were all scared to death but no one wanted to show it. She wanted to spend some QT with all of her niece's and nephews. So we went for an adventure at the bowling alley. Lindsey came home from California for the week, Katy came from Michigan just so everyone could spend some time with Christie before the BIG stressful day! Although it was so scary she actually came out of it well and is doing great which we are all so happy! It could have been so much worse!! Thank Goodness!! Thank you to everyone who came and spent time with her and has prayed and helped! We hope she has a speedy recovery! We love you Aunt Christie!
The Baby Shower
So my sister's and Stephanie and the grandma's had a baby shower for this lucky little guy and it was so sweet. They had fun games, delicious food and a really good time not to mention all the great stuff we got. Thanks for all of your hard work girls we appreciate it so much!!! We love you all! This little guy is going to be so lucky to have Aunts and Grandma's that love him so much!
Jordan turns 13!!!!
I can not believe that Jordan is 13 now. She has grown so fast in such a short period of time. It is fun to watch her with her friends and how she is with them and then how she is at home. She is all into fashion and straightening her hair and taking forever to get ready! I can't believe it has already hit. I am glad she is not into boys yet because I do not know what I will do then. I can not tell you how many people comment on her beauty at concerts and different functions we go to. Jordan is still breezing through school and doesn't have any problems with her school work which is awesome I was not sure if her fast learning skills would go away when she started Middle school but she is not in 7th grade and it is smooth sailing! The change from Elementary to Middle school was a big shocker for me. The students are more independent now and paretns and teachers don't usually meet or talk unless there is a problem. I have had to let go a little bit now that she is older and that is always hard. She is growing and wanting to go places and do things. I have to trust that I taught her right and she will make good choices! She has so far! I am very proud of her and love watching the beautiful young women she is turning into!!!
Kids
We had a family member get married this summer and all of Ethan's family came into town so they decided to have a photographer come and pictures of everyone. I asked for a few of just my children and this is what I got. Look at how beautiful my girls have gotten and how handsome my little man is. They are growing so fast! Jordan just celebrates her 13th birthday, Brianna is now 11 and Austin is 7! It is such a joy to watch them grow into little people and learn new things!
